We hit the ground running our first week of Capstone with Stan Alost. He gave us an assignment to go play with these five words. This is a dream assignment for most photographers… 

Here are a few images that I made during that 2 day assignment. 

I also wrote a poem to pair with the images. 

“Black Eyed Susan”

Susan sustained a black-eye

Not for any real reason really

She was standing above every blade of grass 

pretending that they were all naked 

to bash a life of nervousness 

She began belting that she is just like all the rest
